The Labeling of a mTBI

A recent article published by PubMed from the National Institute of Health covers two of the topics I follow the most, traumatic brain injuries and linguistics.  The linguistic aspects of “labeling” are very powerful.  Where many like to say “a picture says a thousand words,” I also believe that a word can show a thousand pictures.

The study discusses what impact, if any, labeling a mild traumatic brain injury as a “concussion” has to do with the treatment after the injury.  Enjoy!
