A community is mourning the death of a young teacher from the Minisink Valley school department. Authorities were called to the scene of a crash on Route 6 in Slate Hill, NY on Thursday, January 28th.
According to police the driver was unable to maneuver around a turn and struck a tree. Temperatures were low enough to cause frost that morning however authorities have yet to release any additional details regarding the details of the crash.
