For many of us the holiday season is a joyous, but hectic time. It is our goal at Finkelstein & Partners to remain connected to our community and give back to those in need. Melody Gregory, a Finkelstein & Partners Managing Attorney recently shared a letter she received from the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County, thanking her for her efforts during their “Fore” the Kids Gold Classic fundraiser:
“The kindness of donors and sponsors like you enables us to bring trained adult volunteers into the lives of children who face adversity, providing the guidance, support, skill sets, and encouragement they need to grow up stronger. One child at a time, one golfer at a time, one dollar at a time.”
Melody recently volunteered time and resources to send boxes of goodies to our service people currently deployed in attempt to let them know they are in our thoughts while away from their families for the holidays. Melody’s commitment to community is an inspiration to all of us here at Finkelstein & Partners. As a part of our community service program our staff is able to volunteer an hour of “work time” at various community organizations during the holidays and throughout the year, including the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, Habitat for Humanity, the Dutchess County SPCA, Literacy Connections of the Hudson Valley, and the list goes on.
