Auto Accident on Route 28: Ulster Man Injured After Driving Into a Ravine

A Kingston man was in critical condition on Sunday, June 7th when he drove his car off Route 28 and down a steep embankment. Gregory Dubois, 60, was driving his Chevrolet Aveo eastbound south of Jockey Hill Road when he swerved across the lanes, through oncoming traffic in the westbound lane and down an embankment, then hit a tree. Dubois suffered severe head and leg injuries and was taken to the Broadway hospital campus of Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley. He was then taken to St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie.
