A two-car crash on Sunday, June 16, took place in the Town of Crawford on Route 302. One person was taken to Westchester Medical Center in critical condition; four others were taken to local hospitals. Among those individuals was Orange County Legislator, Roseanne Sullivan. Crawford police responded at 11:19 A.M. to the scene, where they said a 2002 Chrysler driven southbound by Elizabeth Labelle, 40, of Greenfield Park, had crossed into the other lane, hitting a 2008 Mazda CX7 driven by John Sullivan, 53, of Circleville. Labelle was flown to Westchester Medical Center with head injuries and listed in critical condition. Her 8-month-old grandson appeared to be uninjured. John and Roseanne Sullivan and their daughter, 14, were all taken to Orange Regional for apparently non-life-threatening injuries. Sullivan, also Pine Bush school board member, often has called for safety improvements on Route 302.
