A school bus driver, a bus aide and an 8-year-old student were injured on the morning of May 21st when the driver veered off Sportsman Road. Around 8:30 a.m., a Rolling V school bus driven by Joanne Weber, 56, of Mountaindale went off Sportsman Road near Bennett Road and into a drainage ditch. The driver continued east and then over-corrected and crossed the road, hitting a utility pole and a tree. Weber suffered chest and head pain, a bus aide had a minor cut to the knee, and the 8-year-old student complained of leg and hip pain. A 9-year-old on the bus was not injured.
