For Profit colleges and universities have come under scrutiny in the media for being “unfriendly” toward Veteran students. In an effort to remedy this, a Coalition of For-Profit Colleges has issued guidelines to provide a better understanding to potential veteran students as to what a for-profit can offer them. The report calls for colleges to provide full accreditation information to all potential students, a full walkthrough of what GI Bill benefits will and won’t cover, and an explanation of “responsible borrowing” to deal with student loan debts.Read Full Article Here
