Our Veterans’ Services Group (VSG) has done it again! The Korean era Veteran came to us with a 0 percent rating for Interstitial Lung Disease. As this condition was caused in service, we fought for him. He was just awarded a 100 percent rating for Interstitial Lung Disease as well as the aggravation of his COPD due to the Interstitial Lung Disease. He has been awarded $140,000 in retroactive benefits and will receive his benefit pay going forward based upon the 100 percent rating. Great work VSG!
