A student at the University of Pennsylvania has developed a prototype of a devise that could greatly reduce the likelihood of construction site injuries.
The technology would monitor worksites, and if a safety issue was detected the technology would immediately notify workers via a mobile app.
This type of technology would be especially beneficial for workers who work at heights or on scaffolds, which rank as the first and third most frequently cited OSHA violation.
