Veteran Awarded 100% service connection for Diabetes Type 2 retroactive to June 2008. The Veteran will receive retroactive compensation in the amount of $155,000.00 and will continue to receive benefits going forward. The Veteran served in the U.S. Airforce from December of 1967-December of 1971. He served in Thailand and was exposed to Agent Orange. He made claims for disability compensation after being diagnosed with Diabetes Type 2 which caused him to suffer kidney failure and undergo a transplant, diabetic neuropathy in both hands and feet and other secondaries. After receiving several denials, he retained our Veterans’ Services Group and, after submitting additional arguments in support and evidence, the VA issued the foregoing decision in his favor. Another great result for a worthy Veteran. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
