Lisa Solomon joined Finkelstein & Partners as a Motions Attorney in September 2024. Ms. Solomon focuses on drafting and opposing various types of motions in the firm’s personal injury practice.

Ms. Solomon graduated from New York University School of Law, cum laude. Prior to attending law school, she earned her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Brandeis University, where she majored in history and psychology. At Brandeis, she earned numerous awards, including Dean’s list (all semesters) and phi beta kappa. She was also named a Justice Brandeis Scholar and Abraham Sachar Scholar.

For the vast majority of her 30+ year legal career, Ms. Solomon has focused exclusively on legal research and writing, at both the trial court and appellate levels. From 1996 to 2022, she worked as a freelance lawyer, assisting solos and small firm litigators nationwide with all of their legal research and writing needs, including preparing and arguing appeals and drafting dispositive motions. Her innovative practice led the American Bar Association to name her as a Legal Rebels Trailblazer in 2017.

On her days off, Ms. Solomon enjoys hunting for wild mushrooms and other wild edible food with the Connecticut Westchester Mycological Association.
