Five Brooklynites were hospitalized on Sunday morning after their SUV rolled over on I-87 near New Windsor.
The driver of a Nissan Pathfinder began drifting into the left shoulder about 2 miles south of Exit 17 northbound. The driver then jerked the wheel, over-correcting and flipping the SUV several times.
Six people were in the SUV. Two were ejected from the vehicle and were flown to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla with serious injuries. Three other people were taken to St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh and were later released.
