Capital Roots
Capital Root’s mission is to ensure every person in the Capital Region has access to fresh, affordable, healthy food. Managing Partner, Andrew Finkelstein, met with Capital Roots organizers to learn more about the cause and to deliver a donation on behalf of the firm.
Warriors on Wheels
Warriors on Wheels has empowered individuals with disabilities since 1988.
“We serve a wide variety of people with various disabilities. Spinal cord injured, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, autism, spinal muscular atrophy, spina bifida, visual and hearing impaired, traumatic brain injury, stroke and others.”-Warriors on Wheels.
We are happy to have supported this outstanding organization. In 2017 Managing Partner, Andrew Finkelstein, toured the impressive facility and met with staff and those involved in the program.
Fast Break Fund
The Fast Break fund, a non-profit organization located in the Capital Region, enriches the lives of underprivileged children and children with special needs by facilitating exposure to sports. The program helps young people build life-long skills such as teamwork and discipline. We are proud to have recognized the Fast Break Fund during our 2017 Albany Hero program.
The Boys and Girls Club of Albany
Since 1892 the Boys and Girls club of Albany has opened its doors to Albany area. The club serves over 2,500 youths each year- providing a safe, structured, and positive environment for young people after school, during holidays, and during summer vacations. We are proud supporters of the Boys and Girls Club of Albany.
The Food Pantries of the Capital District
The Food Pantries of the Capital District is a coalition of 56 food pantries in the greater Albany area. The Food Pantries funds, purchases, collects, and delivers food to hungry neighbors in the Capital District. Managing Partner Andrew Finkelstein met with Natasha Pernicka, Food Pantries Executive, to learn more about the program to deliver a donation on behalf of Finkelstein & Partners, LLP.
