State and local law enforcement will be ramping up efforts to reduce the number of deaths and injuries caused by impaired drivers throughout September 7th.
The statewide campaign, “Driver Sober or Get Pulled over” was announced earlier this month by Gov. Andrew Cuomo. “Driving drunk is both reckless and selfish, and we have seen too far too many avoidable tragedies that occurred after someone got behind the wheel when they shouldn’t have,” said Gov. Cuomo in a statement. “I urge all New Yorkers to drive responsibly, and want everyone to know that impaired driving will not be tolerated in this state.”
If you’re traveling this weekend please do so safely. We at Finkelstein & Partners wish you and yours a safe and happy Labor day.
