On Sunday, July 12th, 2015 a Yates County motorcyclist was struck by a car while riding down Route five in Geneva, NY.
According to authorities, the driver of the car was attempting to make a left hand turn onto Route 14A. The vehicle failed to yield to the right of way and struck the victim.
The driver of the motorcycle was wearing a helmet, but suffered severe injuries to the lower part of his body. He was airlifted to Strong Hospital.
